I’m going to be snapping up some of this collection by Dottie’s Delights! The ‘Millie’ collection, in black, is a sexy mix of antique satin and polka dot peek-a-boo windows ;)

Burlesque Poison Ivy by ~arktoi (Claire Max, whose commentary is below)

My original design Burlesque Poison Ivy outfit, worn at DragonCon 2011. I entered this in the Comic Book Babes contest, but sadly I didn’t win anything. I made the entire costume, with the exception of the gloves and stockings, which were ordered from welovecolors.com. My shoes were plain pumps purchased on ebay for $10, which I then covered with green glitter and sealed with clear acrylic sealant. This was my first time making a real steel-boned corset, and I’m super happy with how it turned out! It’s not visible here, but the skirt has a long train trimmed in emerald green lace, and the border of the entire skirt is hand-stencilled with a flower and vine pattern, which I then embellished with individual swarovski crystals, also by hand. Lots of tedious work. The jewelry I happened to find last minute at a korean gift shop XDPhoto by Anna Fischer, who is absolutely amazing.

……wow.
That is gorgeous.
