London burlesque show Burlexe is back! After 6 sell out shows at Soho’s Shadow Lounge the show returns on 21st march with r’n’b star Kele Le Roc (pictured here in our Glamour corselette), alongside the creme de la creme of UK burlesque in acting and burlesque roles.
Burlexe is the first show to truly represent the history of the art form through historical and contemporary characters’ stories with various monologues for the show created from real interviews with current burlesque stars to reveal what it means to be a performer and subsequently, also what it means to be a woman.
I was lucky enough to see Burlexe a couple of months ago and bumped into several WKD customers who all loved the show! The intimate and relaxed setting really makes it unlike any other burlesque show out there.
